For easy access to a reliable network of publicly accessible fast chargers

PPC has secured European funding for the further development of DEI blue network of public ultra fast chargers (HPDC), through the “Connecting Europe Facility (CEF)” funding instrument. Under the 21-EL-TC-ESEERT project "Electrifying South-East Europe Road Transport", DEI blue is proceeding with the installation and operation of a total of 34 fast charging stations of 2x150 kW up to 300 kW.

The new DEI blue ultra fast chargers will be installed in 13 locations nationwide, enhancing the presence, quality and coverage of DEI blue electric vehicle charging network on key roads of the country. By using energy generated exclusively from renewable sources, the new DEI blue fast charging points will be easily accessible to people with disabilities, who will have priority access.

With the addition of new ultra fast chargers at key points of the Greek road network, DEI blue strengthens significantly its nationwide public network of fast chargers, which lists more than 200 points (DC), out of which 36 are ultra fast charging points up to 300 kW (HPDC), thus facilitating travel.

The Chief E-Mobility Officer of PPC, Mr. Kyriakos Kofinas, stated: "The E-mobility bet is a national bet and DEI blue is a key player in the development of the infrastructure and applications that lead to its achievement. In this direction, we are contracting with the Connecting Europe Facility and we are jointly investing in the rapid deployment of fast charging, in hubs across Greece. The development of green mobility for a more sustainable future is a common goal and we will achieve it through synergies and collaboration."
